Igor
Fyodorovich
Stravinsky
June 17, 1882
- May 6, 1971
A towering figure of the 20th century, Stravinsky was a Russian composer, pianist, and conductor who was later naturalized as both French and American. Often cited for both his early works that were born out of a Russian tradition and compositions from his Neo-Classic period, Stravinsky turned to serialism and dodecaphony in later life.
