Video Sync in Action! Mario Ajero Explains How to Clone a Musician


Mario Ajero, Assistant Professor of Piano Pedagogy at the Stephen F. Austin State University, is well known for his popular Piano Podcast. These instructional videos leverage features of the Disklavier and connectivity to interactive, instructional graphics that are displayed on the computer screen. In this video, he provides some insights into the capabilities of his favorite video editor called ScreenFlow.

Dr. Ajero Demonstrates the Disklavier with Yamaha Visual Performer for iPad


Mario Ajero, Assistant Professor of Piano Pedagogy at the Stephen F. Austin State University, is well known for his popular Piano Podcast. In this video, he takes advantage of the MIDI output of the Disklavier to drive an interactive visual display on his iPad. The iPad app, called Yamaha Visual Performer, responds to each note that he plays.

The DEN Welcomes Hartt School of Music!

University of Hartford's The Hartt School has selected a Yamaha Disklavier CFX concert grand piano (DCFX) for its soon to be renovated Millard Auditorium. The award-winning reproducing piano will be permanently housed at Millard, one of the university's primary concert venues, to amplify student learning via master classes and distance learning.

UCLA Purchases Yamaha DCFX Disklavier Concert Grand Piano to Enhance Capabilities of Herb Alpert School of Music

LOS ANGELES (PRWEB) JUNE 28, 2016
University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) has purchased a new Yamaha Disklavier CFX concert grand piano (DCFX) for its Herb Alpert School of Music, designated this past January as the university's twelfth professional school and the first school of music in the University of California system. The instrument was specially selected by Yamaha Artist Inna Faliks, who also serves as professor of piano and head of piano at UCLA.
