AvantGrand Helps Bravo! Vail Keep the Music Playing

In a normal summer, the hills of Vail, Colorado, are alive with the sounds of the long-running Bravo! festival. But this is far from a normal summer, of course. Still, with Yamaha Artist Anne-Marie McDermott at the helm as artistic director, the festival adapted with an unwavering committment to providing live music. In addition to the now-common online concerts and educational offerings, and the limited-seating outdoor concerts you might expect, Bravo! also commissioned a fully mobile stage, dubbed "The Music Box", to roam the streets of Vail, providing chamber music to anyone who cared to pause for a socially-distanced short program.

University of Oregon Takes Disklavier for a Spin

Pianist Alexandre Dossin and the students at the University of Oregon School of Music and Dance have partnered with Classic Pianos to arrange the use of a Disklavier in the 2020 Spring semester.
